Terms and Conditions for Repair of Goods
Quotations
All quotations for Services and repairs are free of charge. A quotation for Services given by Guitar Guru is an invitation to the Customer to obtain services from Guitar Guru only. An agreement to the quote forms a binding contract between Guitar Guru and the Customer, and the agreement is formed only when an order is received from the Customer offering to purchase the Services, and Guitar Guru has accepted such order.
The acceptance by Guitar Guru of an order to purchase Services shall be deemed to be conditional upon the inclusion of these Conditions.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
Any quotations for Services provided by Guitar Guru are close estimates, for guidance only, and in some cases quoted prices may be subject to change. The Final Quote will be adhered to as best as possible by Guitar Guru and the Customer will be contacted and notified first before any work incurring further cost proceeds.
DATE OF PAYMENT AND COLLECTION
Payment of the Price becomes due and payable on Completion of the Services and upon issue of a valid tax invoice. The Customer shall pay Guitar Guru upon receipt of the invoice/s received for Service/s rendered within 28 days of completion of the contracted services/repairs and date issued on invoice.
TRANSPORT AND INSURANCE COSTS
All prices quoted for Services to be performed by Guitar Guru Do Not include: Freight Insurance or the cost of Pick-up or Delivery. Any Insurance required by the Customer to cover Freight Insurances or the cost of Pick-up or Delivery is the sole responsibility of the Customer.
INABILLITY TO PAY AND COLLECT
If the Customer cannot pay for or collect or their serviced and or repaired goods within 28 days of the notice of completion of work and issue of invoice to the customer for that work done by Guitar Guru, a storage fee of $1.00 per day ($7.00 per week) will be added continually to the overall cost of the services or repairs for the time remaining, until such time as the customer pays the amount owing in full up to the date that the customer returns to collect the serviced/repaired goods.
If after 90 days no contact or effort has been made by the Customer to retrieve their serviced or repaired goods, the item/s will then therefore be deemed to be the property of Guitar Guru and sold on as secondhand stock at a price that is suitable to cover the expenses incurred by Guitar Guru.
TIME FRAME FOR COMPLETION OF SERVICES
Any dates quoted by Guitar Guru for completion of the Services are estimates and for guidance only. Guitar Guru shall complete the Services within a reasonable time.
RISK
The risk of loss or damage to goods shall remain with the Customer at all times unless the goods have been brought to the premises by the Customer and are then therefore in the custody of Guitar Guru. The risk of loss or damage to goods in transit to or from the Guitar Guru premises remains with the customer. Guitar Guru shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods caused by the negligence of an owner or any person/s acquainted to the owner and any person/s not related to Guitar Guru in a professional capacity outside of the daily operations of the Guitar Guru premises, Customer's contractors, or by any other external cause whatsoever. Guitar Guru will not be required to insure any goods unless the Customer and Guitar Guru have agreed to do so in writing. Any agreed insurance charges shall be borne by the Customer. If the Customer requires Guitar Guru to take out marine, air/freight, travel or any other kind of insurance on the Customer's behalf, the costs of any such insurance will be a debt due and payable by the Customer to Guitar Guru.
